A barbecue

To choose a barbecue depends on several elements :

¤The price
¤The energy : gas/ charcoal/ electricity
¤Smaller fonctional elements (report to comparative table)
¤The size (report to comparative table)

In some cases, the choice is restrained by some obligations decided at a regional level : as an example, charcoal barbecues are prohibited due to risks of fire in southern france. So it is quite necessary to check for any similar prohibition where you live. also, restrictions in housing lots and in co-ownerships sometimes allow only electric barbecues (balconies and small gardens). you should inform yourself of your co-ownership regulations

When no restriction, the way you choose shall keep two main criterions : the price and the energy.

¤ Price :

♦it is easy to find cheap barbecues ; but you have to check if those are in accordance with all actual norms.
♦Charcoal barbecues still are the cheapest ones. you can easily find a good product for 30 euros.
♦Then there is the electrical barbecue for about 50 euros.
♦Then the gas barbecue for about 100 euros.

¤ Energy :
♦Charcoal : it is the one which is used the most by all. it brings to user the pleasure to light his own fire ; making him waiting for embers to flush from burning, carefully keep an eye on the cooking and feel proud to serve tasty grills which have been pampered throughout the cooking. It is an art and a pleasure at the same time.
♦Gas : it is becoming inevitable ; north-american and aussie culture stepped over our boarders. for all who don't want to muck their hands up anymore but want to have their cooking totally under control and elaborate meals as they were cooked in the oven, the gas barbecue is ideal.
♦Electrical : the barbecue for balconnies. small, easy to put away and fast to light (it only needs to get plugged), it is the youngest one of the great barbecue family.
